And so the story continues...
"Where the hell is he?" I asked Edwin, but he could only shrug back, equally as puzzled as I was.
"Probably with her," He grinned mischieviously, sending me into fits of uncontrollable laughter.
Sure enough, the clouded curiosity cleared our quizzical minds the moment we sniffed the familiar, cool air of the lecture theatre as we entered. Plainly, there he was, laughing and chatting merrily with her, totally oblivious to the significant buzzing of the crowd in the theatre.
"Ah. Socialising," Edwin pointed out bluntly, feeling quite enlightened as squeezed through the mass to make our way to our seats.
Before I could reply, the Chemistry lecturer started shrieking into the helpless microphone, signalling for us to settle down. Edwin gave an excruciating look while I rolled my eyes at the unbearable screeching, which was irritable but evidently must be obeyed. While the group of grumbling students made their way to their seats, we managed to catch a glimpse of them sitting comfortably together.
Edwin winked cheekily at me and I returned the favour, after which I quickly slipped into my usual state of sleepy stupor as the lecturer began to drone on and on and on...
Homework of the day: Who the bloody hell are "they"? (No prizes for correct answers.) -Tingz, feeling sexy, naughty and bitchy.
